About Us

At Viable Action, we are the advocates for sustainable environmental
stewardship, mobilizing resources to strengthen local capacities in building
context-specific community resilience, disaster response, protection, and
safeguarding, for the benefit of all creation; past, present, and future.

Our Work

Viable Action is a local, grassroots Private Voluntary Organization (PVO) registered and operating in Zimbabwe (PVO 44/22). Our headquarters is in Chipinge district and we are operating in the South Eastern districts of Manicaland province, Zimbabwe. We are currently having a presence in Chimanimani, Chipinge, and Buhera districts.

Our Work

We work
with a diversity of stakeholders, and we invest in building the
capacity of community institutions, and structures. In our
work, we support and uphold the value of Indigenous
Knowledge Systems in the sustainable management of
natural resources. In the face of recurring climate changeinduced
hazards and disasters, we strive to collectively build
action-oriented capacity in child protection, disaster
mitigation, preparedness, and response.
